About us

MEM was founded by Florian Menzl, an enthusiastic Vespa rider since he was 16 years old. He is a professional mechanic with an additional background in electric vehicles and has more than 25 years of experience in Vespa repairs and restorations. He has been working on Vespas full time for four years already before founding MEM. Florian started developing the electric conversion kit in 2019. He teamed up with an engineer, a welder, and an EV specialist. One year later, in 2020, the first prototype passed the TÜV certification and was offically road legal. MEM moved to a bigger workshop and storage space. Another year of extensive testing and improving went into the kit. The kit is now fully developed, tested, and ready to be sold.
